Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide services, products, programs, and information to members so they may serve the consumer ethically, professionally, successfully and competently; and to preserve private property rights.
The Otero County Association of REALTORS® is a not-for-profit professional trade association. The National Association of REALTORS® issued the association’s original charter in January of 1962. The organization has gone through name changes over the years finally determining that Otero County Association of REALTORS® best fit the member demographics. The territorial jurisdiction of OCAR as granted by NAR is all of Otero County, New Mexico. Cities include Alamogordo, Boles Acres, Tularosa, La Luz, Cloudcroft, High Rolls, Bent, Weed, Mayhill, Sacramento, Timberon, Pinon, and Orogrande.
